Next Day Freight Class

The Next Day Freight Class Table is where you can enter information about the service classes provided by your next day delivery service providers when using the next day freight interface options services and NetConnect Processing.

Next Day Freight Class Fields

Next Day Service Class ID The code used to identify the next day service class in the system. The next day service class must be unique.
Carrier The name of the next day freight service carrier: FedEx, UPS, or DHL.
Next Day Service Class Name The name of the next day service class as provided by the next day freight carrier.
Service Type Code The service type (for example, next day or priority) as provided by the next day freight carrier.
Service Class Code The service class code denotes whether the class is residential or commercial, as provided by the next day freight carrier.
Signature Release The signature release code denotes whether the carrier can deliver an order without a recipient signing for it first.

Carrier Collects Freight

Enter Y (Y=yes) if the carrier will collect freight charges as well as the COD amount; enter N (N=No (N) if the carrier will not collect freight charges.
Declared Value Enter the declared value on next day freight service codes 0 to 200 percent.
